STS Band Screens are designed for fine screening of waste water at the inlet to Sewage Treatment Works where a continuous means of removing solids is required to improve the works efficiency.

Fitted with plastic mesh panels having 2mm to 6mm diameter apertures, the screens can be installed in both new works or retrofitted into existing channels.

Construction
The Screens are manufactured in the United Kingdom to BS EN ISO 9001 quality control standards. A robust one piece all stainless steel self-supporting frame is utilized, housing an endless band of screening panels, supported by two sprockets and driven by a motor through a shaft mounted reduction gearbox. Below the water the band is guided eliminating any permanently submerged parts.
