| More than 50 US sites
have been outfitted with the Brackett Bosker®
Raking Machine since the introduction into the US
in 1993. The Brackett Bosker, a unique raking machine
that rakes on the descent (vs. the older styles
of raking while ascending) has been coined by many
as one of the "best trash rakes in the world".
With more than 500 sites world wide, the Brackett
Bosker Raking Machine has certainly started a new
revolution in the way debris is removed from coarse
screened intakes.
The list of US installed applications includes
Fossil, Nuclear and Hydro power stations, Land
Drainage Pumping Stations, Water and Waste Water
Treatment Plants, Combined Storm water Overflow
Stations, Steel Mills, Fish Diversion Projects
and numerous other applications.
The Bosker's proven ability to penetrate bar screens,
grasp and retain debris has certainly made it the
leader in raking machine design technology. Many
plants have reported a distinct increase in efficiency
either by decreasing the differential across the
bar screens, reducing the load on down stream equipment,
or by simply reducing or eliminating the man power
required on site. |
